since the eighties

For more than twenty years we have been leading in making your interiors beautiful and “personal”.
It all started back in 1986, when we began importing Mediterranean earthenware (which was somewhat unknown back then). The small store in the Amsterdam Jordaan district became too small for our steadily growing collection. The next obvious step was the move to our vast location Loods 6 on the KNSM-island in 1997.
Besides providing the public with products that are dear to us; we distribute our designs to leading design stores around the world, all bearing pols potten’s characteristic signature. Therefore it is highly possible that you run into us in Buenos Aires, Tokyo or Cape Town…. during your next travels.
